海外は24日にNHK WORLD、
国内は25日にBS1、14時に放送（日曜に再放送）。
北海道の南西側に流れる鵡川（むかわ）は、本流にほとんどダムがなく、上流から下流までラフティングやカヤックを楽しめる。鵡川を下りながら、流域の歴史に思いをはせる。

Just finished the newest episode of Journeys in Japan. It airs from 24th on NHK WORLD channel, 25th 14:00 on BS1 in Japan.
北海道のほぼ中央から太平洋へと抜ける135kmの川旅。
常連のディーンが北海道の大自然を満喫すると共に、
深い歴史を探ってます。
インドに引き続きジャングル感満載の作品。
Cutting through deep forests, Dean Newcombe follows the waterway 135 kilometers downstream to the Pacific Ocean. He discovers Hokkaido’s stellar nature, the Mukawa River’s deep history and its Ainu connections.
布陣はDP/Yuya、音声/Stevenという楽しい仲間たち。
あと、
ローカルガイドの方々がみな素晴らしかったです。
Here are my splendid crews. Dean Newcombe plays the main role. Yuya Morimoto as a DP, Steven LeFever as a Sound guy. Local guides were also all wonderful. Not just so much fun to work with but I could rely on them through the whole shooting.
